It has been a while since i last posted on here to let you guys know whats happening with the site. Well, there has been so much!

Back end optimization has been steller. I have managed to cut the total size of pages nearly in half which will make the site load faster for all of you! In addition i have added features! Notice the new digg.com badge on every article? You can now easily digg the articles on this website.

Also! You firefox users that make up 50% of my viewers! This is to you! I bet you have noticed the site is a bit jerkey scrolling up and down! This is due to the heavy java script that is involved in this theme that i use to make it look pretty. The jscript is done through mootools which runs very slow in firefox because firefox has a very slow jscript rendering engine built into it.   Anyways enough geek talk. Firefox 3 fixes this problem! It is much smoother now which is a huge relief to me as i was debating to change themes because of it!

I will try to continue posting articles to help you all out. Keep checking back frequently!

One last thing. I get a lot of people messing me comments or questions about articles. If you register on the site you can comment below the articles. (I only have registeration to stop spam bots!)

I know it isn’t a lot for many sites, but today the article on how to change your vostro 1500 / inspiron 1520 ram has reached 10,000 views. It is the largest viewed article on the site.

And i was worried there would be no interest in it.

Keep checking back for new articles, this site is 10 months old, and just starting to develop.  Its an exciting time!

Being in the ambitious mood i have been in lately, i have been making lots of changes and updates to the site.

• Removed the language translation support after a bug was discovered in it
• Changed the font color of linked items to make them more visible, yet not overly ugly
• Changed the listing of all pc tips into categories
  • Alphabetized those categories instead of date ordered
  • Added images to those categories
• Updated the contact us section
• Updated the site footer

Thanks for sticking by us during these exciting times. I also renewed the domain and hosting today, and my wallet is hurting :P.

It is an exciting time to be a part of this website. It is really beginning to come along in many good ways. Traffic is up to record levels, search engine optimization is great, and readers are enjoying our content!

The most important thing for us to do, is obviously push out new content as fast as we can. But it is also important to provide a great user expirence for the already existing content. Taking this into consideration, we have updated and modified the site in a few more ways this week.

• Increased the font size for easier readability.
• Increased the line spacing for easier readability.
• Removed the author of the articles to make a cleaner look.
• Modified the dates in which posts are made to make a cleaner look.
  • Both of these are apparent in the list of all pc tips section.
• Converted long articles to multi-page articles for faster page loads and easier readability.
• Added site translation support after realizing a large part of our audience resides over seas.
• Added support for embedded videos.

We have more big plans in store for the site too. Keep checking back to stay updated on our progress.

The rss feed is currently working. It will display the 6 current front page articles.

The number of front page articles has increased from 3 to 6 to make the rss feeds more worth while.

If you encounter any problems with the feed please let us know and we will try and look into a solution.

A new link is now visible in the top menu bar that links to this blog for easier access.

We have recently added a new feature that allows users to upload custome avaiators and also comment on articles. Only registered users can comment (to protect against spam bots). Please let us know how you like this feature.

Currently there are a couple known problems with the site:

• RSS feeds do not work and we are looking into the issue.
• Pages scroll slow and jerky when using firefox 2. Problem is fixed using IE7 and firefox 3, but we are looking into the issue.
